E-Safety
Children have regular access to computers and tablets both at school and at home. It is vital that the content they see and the sites they visit online are monitored, in order to keep them safe online.
The internet is a vital tool in education but unfortunately we have to be extremely vigilant when our children are using the internet. It is far too easy for children to click on a familiar link and then click too far, opening up a virus or an inappropriate website.
There are many websites that offer key advice about keeping your children safe while they are online. Below are useful links that you can use to help you keep your child safe at home:
The Computing curriculum refers to internet safety so children from Foundation Stage through to Year 6 will be taught age appropriate lessons linked to e-safety. If you would like any more information or to discuss this further please do not hesitate to come into school.
